The establishment believes the ice will melt in some 100 years or more, India and Pakistan will then stand on the same ground

Islamabad: Neither India nor Pakistan would vacate the Siachen glaciers, as the opposition could take over the strategic location gaining an advantage over the other. India, for now, occupies the highest point in Siachen glaciers, the Saltoro Ridge, which is located at 23,000 feet.

However many people may be dying, due to the cold and not actual, neither country would budge.

Pakistan, on the other hand, has a far-sighted strategy on the matter, Khabaristan Times has learnt. “Siachen is a battleground for the future,” said our defence minister – if you know who he is, mail us at missing.ministers@khabaristantimes.com.

The minister stated that due to global warming, the glaciers at Siachen will definitely melt one day and that is what everyone is waiting for. “It was discussed by all the celebrities in 2015 UN Climate Change Conference, that toy in Paris. Who can deny that?” he said in an anonymous email.

The defence minister said that the government and the COAS are on the same page on this. The establishment believes the ice will melt in some 100 years or more, India and Pakistan will then stand on the same ground.

“The coast will then be clear for the attack,” the minister said. “Also when the ice melts, India will be submerged in water making it easier for us to take over.”

The famous song Siachen Diya-e-Barfa, which has been a mate to all the army men for ages now, is also in the re-making. “We have it all mapped out, there has to be a new song as the ice would melt to help the soldiers cope,” the general added.
