The promotion of the movie starts next week. The team is focusing on an international release first and hopefully later on in Pakistan.

The film is a college love story completely shot in Poland, “The movie focuses on the female lead character’s mistrust in romance and love,” Salman Ahmed shares withPakistan Today.

Salman’s cameo act is to play the guardian angel rock star to the female lead character and it is through music that she finds freedom and hope.

Salman, being the musician that he is, has also contributed to the songs in the movie, “The theme song Yaro was recorded with Sunidhi Chauhan and me in Mumbai,” Salman confirms.

If that’s not all the lead cast features another Pakistani singer Adeel Chaudhry.

This Vicky Kumar film has been nearly seven years in the making, and has faced delays in production due to budget constraints, reported Times of India.

Rhythm also pays tribute to Junoon as this August will be Junoon’s 25th anniversary. “The film celebrates the anniversary with its brand new songs & the classic ‘Sayonee’”.

Salman is so excited about the anniversary that he claims that the celebrations will be year around and Rhythm is just the start, “the film is just the beginning! Through the year we will have music TV shows and huge live concerts,” the tours will be starting this August.

We can’t wait to see the Junoon magic again.
